You always have a choice, and life is full of them.

Florence and her friends wanted one carefree summer — the last hurrah before adulthood.

Except they stumbled into knowledge that was impossible to ignore, something unsavoury and dangerous that forced them to become people they never thought they’d be.

When Florence’s world collided with Tom’s, it exploded. She had to make choices — hard choices — that changed her life, and everyone in it.

It all started with that summer. The unforgettable summer where their lives became intertwined.

The season of becoming.
