The author is a part time writer who writes in her spare time. She always loves words and amazed by them. She is fascinated at how words can give beautiful revelation in meanings.
At first, she writes as a form of self therapy after a tragedy struck in her life to unpack emotions without having to feel them. By creating characters and narrating from third party point of view, she can inflict these emotions from a safe distance without jeopardising her emotional wellbeing. The characters and events might be fiction but the emotions that poured into them are real. As she writes more, she feels at home and continues to love it.
She loves to read, any books across genres. Among her favourites she counts Orwell, Austen and Tan as her most favourites. As a child she grew up with a father who owned a vast collection of books, the likes of James Clavell, John Le Carré and Arthur C Clarke. Her father encouraged both his daughters to read from early age. He bought them encyclopaedias for children in two languages. But the first adult book that she picked up was by Amy Tan The Hundred Secret Senses, which she fell madly in love with.
After that, she read anything she could get her hands into, including Reader’s Digest and National Geographics. As an adult reader, she loves Lee Child, Vince Flynn and Liane Moriarty. These days her biggest influence to write came from Austen, Child and Moriarty.
She is a newbie and has so much to learn in writing. She only hopes anyone who gives their time of the day will appreciate the stories she’s trying to tell through her books.
She currently resides in Australia with her two children.
